## When to rebuild vectors

| Event | Action |
|-------|--------|
| New generated / published post | Re-run `build-vectors.mjs` |
| Brand or posting context changed | Rebuild |
| Website scrape refreshed | Rebuild (when website-cache wired) |
| Switched embed mode local ↔ openai | Full rebuild required |

## Ops tips

- Keep `manifest.json` for audit (count, model, timestamp)  
- Do not commit secrets; vectors are text+floats only  
- Archive old `chunks.json` before major reindex if needed
